Survey: 48% Favor Brazil’s Relationship with BRICS

Rio de Janeiro (RJ), 26/04/2025 – Symbol of the Meeting of Foreign Ministers for the Brazilian Presidency of BRICS. A Nexus survey also shows that the majority of Brazilians are critical of the United States’ stance. Survey reveals that 48 percent of Brazilians support Brazil’s relationship with BRICS and are in favor of strengthening ties with this group of emerging economies. The survey indicates a positive sentiment towards the partnership within the BRICS framework among a significant portion of the population in Brazil. Brazil’s involvement in BRICS is seen as a strategic move that can bring economic benefits and increase geopolitical influence for the country. The results of the survey highlight the importance of the BRICS alliance to a considerable part of the Brazilian population and suggest a preference for closer relations with other emerging economies, rather than traditional global powers.
