After the construction of the training center, Mirassol experienced a rise in its performance: they were champions of the Series D in 2020 and reached the elite division in 2025. The club’s situation changed completely after the training center was built. The money received from Luiz Araújo’s sale was used to purchase the training center area and start the construction of four fields, a gym, and dormitories. This investment played a crucial role in improving the club’s facilities. Junior Antunes, Mirassol’s football director, stated to UOL: ‘Other clubs would have used the money to sign players, but we invested in the training center. It was from there that Mirassol grew and started achieving results in national championships.’
