Thousands of Iranian exiles in Brussels mobilize to demand regime change in Iran

Tens of thousands of Iranians marched in Brussels, Belgium, this Saturday to demand a regime change in Iran and express their support for organized resistance led from exile, as reported by the organizers. The demonstration, led by Maryam Rajavi of the National Council of Resistance of Iran, called for tougher sanctions against the Islamic Republic and the inclusion of the Revolutionary Guard in the EU’s list of terrorist groups. Chants of ‘Khamenei murderer’ echoed as the protesters voiced their demands for change in their home country.

The protesters gathered in Brussels to show solidarity with the resistance movement, denouncing the oppressive regime in Iran under Supreme Leader Ayatollah Khamenei’s rule. The demonstration highlighted the need for international support to hold the regime accountable for its human rights violations and support the people’s desire for freedom and democracy. The exiled Iranians called for the European Union to take a stronger stance against the Islamic Republic and designate the Revolutionary Guard as a terrorist organization, reflecting growing discontent with the regime’s actions.

Amidst calls for regime change and increased pressure on Iran, the demonstrators emphasized the importance of unity and solidarity in the face of the regime’s crackdown on dissent. The protest in Brussels marked a significant moment for the Iranian opposition, showcasing their determination to bring about a democratic change in Iran. The exiled community in Belgium and beyond rallied together to demand justice, freedom, and respect for human rights in their homeland, uniting under the banner of resistance against the oppressive regime.

As the chants of ‘Khamenei murderer’ reverberated through the streets of Brussels, the Iranian diaspora made their voices heard, calling for an end to the regime’s tyranny and the establishment of a democratic government in Iran. The protest served as a powerful symbol of resilience and determination among the exiled community, rallying support for a brighter future for Iran. The mobilization in Brussels sent a clear message to the Iranian authorities: the people will continue to fight for their rights and freedoms, no matter where they are located around the world.
