On August 27th, the 15th China-Northeast Asia Expo with the theme ‘Joining Hands with Northeast Asia, Embracing Openness for a Win-Win Future’ opened in Changchun, Jilin Province. Over the past 20 years since its establishment, the Northeast Asia Expo has actively promoted regional trade and investment cooperation in an open and inclusive spirit, becoming the largest and highest-level economic and trade cooperation platform in the region.
The prospects for trade are expanding. Stepping into the venue of the Northeast Asia Expo, with a vast area of 73,000 square meters and 3620 booths, thousands of enterprises from 45 countries and regions gathered, showcasing a variety of unique products and technological innovations, reflecting the enthusiasm for openness and cooperation.
In the Siping exhibition area in Jilin, products like golden corn wine and corn-themed cultural creations made their debut, attracting the attention of visitors. The event featured a series of business matchmaking sessions, forums, and product launches, facilitating exchanges and cooperation among enterprises, enhancing mutual understanding, and expanding room for cooperation.
As a key part of the Expo, the China-Japan-Korea Business Summit aimed to deepen the economic and trade cooperation among the three countries. The Wheel of Fortune for Northeast Asia economically represented a highlight of the event, where companies from different regions exchanged ideas and explored potential collaborations.
During the Expo, the Achievements Exhibition of the Northeast Asia Trade and Investment Cooperation Zone showcased the successful cases of regional cooperation, demonstrating the practical results of economic and trade cooperation. The Expo not only promoted trade and investment among Northeast Asian countries but also contributed to enhancing the overall regional economic development.
