The US President, Donald Trump, stated that he believes Nicolas Maduro’s time in office in Venezuela is coming to an end, but refused to say whether the United States is preparing for military action on Venezuelan soil. ‘I would say yes. I think so,’ said Trump when asked if Maduro’s days as president are numbered, during an interview on the ’60 Minutes’ program on CBS this Sunday (2). When pressed about reports of possible attacks within Venezuela, Trump refused to confirm or deny them. ‘I mean, I’m not saying it’s true or false,’ he said. ‘I’m not going to say what I’m going to do with Venezuela, whether I will act or not,’ added the American president. The interview was reposted by the White House’s official profile on the social network X.
