The Adass Israel Synagogue, located in Ripponlea, Glen Eira in Melbourne’s south-east, was set on fire around 4 am on December 6 while approximately 20 worshippers gathered for prayers. Younes Ali Younes, 20, appeared in court as the second man connected to the incident following claims made by the Australian Security Intelligence Organisation (ASIO) that Iran was behind the attack.
