UAZ will begin selling the updated off-road vehicle ‘Patriot’ before the third quarter of 2026, announced the general director of the car plant, Alexey Spirin, to Autonews.ru. The new model will feature an engine from the commercial vehicle Sollers Argo – with a displacement of 2.0 liters, 130 hp, and a 6-speed manual transmission. Externally, the updated ‘Patriot’ will be recognizable by its new fully LED headlights. The interior of the off-road vehicle will also undergo changes, featuring a new steering wheel, center console, and multimedia system. At the end of October, UAZ began endurance testing the ‘Patriot’ off-road vehicles with the new engine and transmission. The tests will be conducted over a distance of up to 100,000 km.
