US sanctions dozens of companies and individuals for contributing to Iran’s armament plan

WASHINGTON. – US authorities imposed a new package of sanctions on Wednesday, October 1, against 17 individuals and 21 companies, most of them Chinese and Iranian, for contributing to networks allegedly linked to Iran’s missile and aircraft development program. The sanctions target entities providing key technology and goods to the Iranian military. According to the US government, these actions aim to prevent the spread of weapons of mass destruction and destabilizing activities in the region.
