Valve is expanding the Steam ecosystem, focusing on universal solutions for gamers. The company has officially announced the launch of three new devices under the Steam brand. In early 2026, the company will release an updated Steam Controller, a compact gaming PC called Steam Machine, and the Steam Frame VR headset. All the new products are based on the solutions applied in the Steam Deck and run on SteamOS. The Steam Controller 2 evolves the ideas of Valve’s portable console, featuring new-generation magnetic sticks, trackpads, gyroscopes, and additional buttons on the rear panel. The controller is compatible with the Steam Deck, PCs, and other ecosystem devices, with a battery life of up to 35 hours on a single charge.
