Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi is set to meet Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday, ahead of Modi’s upcoming visit to China for the SCO summit in Tianjin. Modi’s visit to China from August 31 to September 1 will mark his first trip to the country in seven years. Wang Yi’s three-day visit to India includes discussions on various bilateral and regional issues, in preparation for the summit. During their meeting, Wang Yi and Prime Minister Modi are expected to address key topics of mutual interest and cooperation between India and China, such as trade, security, and regional stability.
