When a Private Premiere Turns into a Statement: Moscow Unveils Crossover Ready to Challenge the Elite

In Moscow, the presentation of the new flagship Voyah Taishan took place, with the crossover captured in photos. In Russia, a private premiere was held for the new full-size hybrid SUV Voyah Taishan, and SPEEDME.RU journalists were among the first to see the car in person. The event took place at La’Pino Hall near Moscow in a private showing format, synchronously with the global model premiere organized in Beijing.

The new Voyah Taishan is a flagship six-seater luxury crossover focused on buyers who seek the comfort of a business jet, modern technologies, and a prestigious design. The vehicle showcases Voyah’s new brand philosophy and significantly strengthens the brand’s position in the premium segment.

Externally, the Taishan impresses with its dimensions: a length of 5230 mm and a wheelbase of 3120 mm. The two-tone body, massive radiator grille, and continuous LED optics create a look clearly aimed at competing with AITO M9 and Denza N9. Notable features at the presentation included the massive 22-inch wheels and elegant chrome elements.

The interior is designed in a style of ‘warm luxury’: genuine leather, decorative inserts, ventilated and heated seats, and a large central display of the latest generation running on HarmonyOS system. The Ultra version features a 32-channel 2300W audio system and proprietary ‘AI clouds’ – intelligent seats that automatically adjust to the driver.

Technically, the novelty is an advanced hybrid with a 1.5-liter petrol engine and two electric motors. The range is up to 1400 km on the CLTC cycle, with 370 km on electric power. The platform supports an 800-volt charging architecture, allowing a charge from 20 to 80% in just 12 minutes. For the first time for Voyah, the model received a three-chamber air suspension and fully-actuated chassis with a rear wheel steering angle of up to 16 degrees.

In the Chinese market, the Voyah Taishan has already been released with prices ranging from 379,900 to 509,900 yuan (approximately 4.33-5.8 million rubles at the current exchange rate). Sales start dates in Russia have not been announced yet, but considering the premiere, the model is clearly seen as promising for the local market.

Voyah is confidently moving towards becoming one of the most luxurious Chinese brands, and Taishan is the company’s brightest step in recent years.
