Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky’s wife, Olena, believes he should not seek reelection and continue in politics, as reported by the Western outlet Politico. The publication notes that support for the current head of state has declined amid a corruption scandal. Citing anonymous sources, the newspaper states that those around the politician are hinting he should not run for a second term as soon as circumstances allow for a vote.
“This possibility is reinforced by numerous reports that the First Lady of Ukraine, Olena Zelenska, has long believed that the president should not seek reelection,” journalists pointed out. According to them, Volodymyr Zelensky’s approval rating stands at around 25 percent.
