Measles cases are spreading again in several regions of Indonesia, with 46 regions already declared as measles outbreaks, including Jakarta and North Sumatra. According to data from the Indonesian Ministry of Health, there have been 23,128 suspected cases up to August 2025. The Ministry urges parents to ensure their children complete their immunizations. The rise in measles cases has become a cause for concern not only in urban areas but also in more remote regions of the country.
