The study aimed to evaluate the impact of combining a calorie-restricted diet with walking on fat loss in overweight and obese adults. The findings revealed that the group following the diet along with walking lost an average of 6.4 kg of fat mass over the 12-week trial period. In comparison, the group that only followed the calorie-restricted diet lost an average of 4.8 kg of fat mass. These results highlight the significant impact that incorporating walking into a weight loss regimen can have on accelerating body fat loss. The combination of diet and walking proved to be more effective than diet alone.
