Afghanistan Shuts Down Pakistani Airspace Leading to Flight Cancellations

International tensions between Afghanistan and Pakistan have suddenly escalated. The Taliban government has temporarily shut down its airspace for Pakistani planes and commercial flights. As a result, several domestic and international flights operated by Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) have been canceled. International cargo and Hajj flights have been particularly affected. Although the Taliban has not officially announced this decision, many Afghan journalists claim it is a response to recent attacks carried out by Pakistan on Afghanistan.
