The Allianz Parque underwent a ‘megaoperation’ after the Guns N’ Roses concert last Saturday (25) and will have maximum capacity for the Palmeiras vs. Cruzeiro match. The band’s performance, one of the most famous rock bands globally, was attended by over 49,000 fans, marking the highest attendance at the Allianz Parque in 2025. Immediately after the show ended around 11 PM, over 500 employees worked to dismantle the stage and prepare the stadium for Sunday’s match at 8:30 PM.
The operation was led by WTorre, the stadium’s administrator. Behind the scenes, the company views it as a complex yet successful operation. While similar logistics had been performed before, different stage structures and technological resources could complicate the dismantling process, causing potential delays. In recent days, Palmeiras and WTorre aligned their planning to ensure that the 30th round of the Brazilian Serie A match would have all available seats for the green and white fans.
All tickets were sold for the Palmeiras vs. Cruzeiro match, and the Allianz Parque can host over 90,000 people during the weekend. As it nears 11 years of operation since the reform of the former Palestra Italia Stadium, the arena approaches the milestone of 17 million spectators, encompassing football matches, concerts, and corporate events.
