AIT Worldwide Logistics Continues Global Expansion with First Office in Indonesia

As part of its current organic expansion strategy, global leader in supply chain solutions, AIT Worldwide Logistics, has opened its first office in Jakarta, Indonesia. The new office represents the eighth country in the AIT-Asia network and embodies the company’s adaptability and flexibility in response to customer demand in the region. Teammates gathered to celebrate the grand opening of AIT-Jakarta. According to AIT’s Director of Strategies, Greg Weigel, the Jakarta team will collaborate with AIT’s global network to quickly customize maritime, air, and land solutions that meet the specific organizational needs of each client, with a focus on the rapidly growing industrial, technology, and telecommunications sectors in the region. ‘Jakarta is a crucial market for us as we continue our expansion in Asia,’ said Weigel. ‘Our presence in Indonesia not only positions AIT to leverage a region with enormous opportunities, but also underscores our ability to provide local, high-quality service that directly addresses the needs of our clients.’ Tony Tong, AIT’s Vice President of Operations for the Asia Pacific, leads the office, which offers comprehensive freight services, with a particular focus on air and ocean imports and exports.
