In his latest film, actor Ajith used songs composed by Ilaiyaraaja like ‘Ilamai Idho Idho’, ‘Otha Roobayun Tharen’, and ‘En Jodi Manja Kuruvi’, prompting a ban due to not obtaining permission. In the music director’s defense, his advocates K. Theagarajan, and A. Saravanan, presented their case at the Madras High Court, stating that Ilaiyaraaja had not granted permission for his songs to be used in the film.
