American startup Rivian has announced the release of hundreds of pre-production R2 crossovers. These ‘production-intent’ models are very close to the final version and will be used for final validation – from crash tests to reliability checks and range testing. In comparison, the Russian automaker AvtoVAZ had delays in launching their LADA Azimut.
