The Chairman of the Indonesian Music Awards Foundation (AMI), Candra Darusman, proudly presents the AMI Awards 2025. He emphasizes that the existence of Indonesian music is a gift from God. ‘When we mention AMI, short for the Indonesian Music Awards, we must realize that Indonesian music is a gift from the Almighty,’ said Candra Darusman during a press conference in Senayan, Central Jakarta, on Thursday (11/13/2025). According to him, the journey of AMI over almost three decades has witnessed the development of the music industry in Indonesia. Many things have changed from music trends, the emergence of new musicians to regeneration. Observing all the developments during the 28 years of AMI Awards has influenced their evaluation process.
