The assembly recently introduced the AP Motor Vehicles Taxation Regulation Bill, which aims to reduce the burden of Green Tax on citizens. While the previous government imposed penalties of up to Rs 20 for pollution control for vehicles, the current government has lowered this to a range of Rs 1,500 to Rs 3,000.
