Angela Ro Ro’s wake will be on Tuesday in a private ceremony

The wake of singer and songwriter Angela Ro Ro will be held this Tuesday at the Crematório e Cemitério da Penitência, located in Caju, downtown Rio de Janeiro. The farewell, open to fans, will take place at the Ecumenical Chapel 1, between 1 pm and 4 pm. Angela, who passed away on Monday at the age of 75, gave voice to romantic lyrics and had a series of hits that made her one of the most acclaimed Brazilian artists by specialized critics, both in the country and abroad, during the 1970s and 1980s. One of her biggest successes is ‘Amor, Meu Grande Amor’. The artist was hospitalized at Hospital Silvestre in Rio de Janeiro, where she died after contracting an infection.
