Angry Mob Kills Alleged Rapist, Parades Body Through Streets in Indonesia

A man was brutally killed and paraded through the streets by a vigilante mob after being accused of raping a disabled woman in Gowa, Indonesia. The 47-year-old man, identified as Ali, was hunted down by enraged locals for allegedly sexually assaulting the woman on November 30. Ali sought refuge at a relative’s house and later attempted to hide in the forest but was captured on December 3 while looking for food. The villagers, recognizing him as a repeat offender in the area, proceeded to brutally attack him with sticks, stones, and machetes. Shocking footage shows Ali being lynched while hundreds of people filmed the incident on their smartphones.
