Two days have passed since the blast near the Red Fort in Delhi, where at least 12 people lost their lives and dozens were injured. Now, Delhi Police has initiated a search for another suspicious vehicle, a red Ford EcoSport, possibly linked to the same terrorist module. The car could potentially be a part of the same terrorist operation.
Delhi Police Issues Alert
According to sources, Delhi Police has issued an alert to locate this car and five teams are currently on the lookout for it. During the investigation, it has emerged that besides the i20, another red car was also spotted near the scene. Information about this car has been circulated to all stations, police checkpoints, and border checkposts.
With this development, police in Uttar Pradesh and Haryana have also been put on high alert.
It is mentioned that the explosion occurred on the evening of November 10, when a Hyundai i20 with Haryana registration, parked near gate number 1 of the Red Fort Metro station, suddenly exploded. This incident resulted in 12 fatalities and numerous injuries. Investigative agencies are currently analyzing over 1000 CCTV footage clips. Suspicions are raised that this could be a suicide attack aimed at causing maximum damage.
