Anti-dumping investigation initiated on stainless steel sheet imports

India has launched an anti-dumping investigation into the import of cold-rolled flat stainless steel sheets from China, Indonesia, and Vietnam. The Directorate General of Trade Remedies (DGTR) initiated the probe after receiving complaints from domestic producers such as JSL and SAIL. The move aims to address concerns about alleged dumping that could harm domestic stainless steel producers. The Indian Stainless Steel Development Association (ISSDA), representing domestic producers, has been instrumental in lodging the complaint with the authorities.
