Anti-rabies Vaccination Camps Expanded in Thoothukudi

Thoothukudi Corporation held an anti-rabies vaccination camp at the new bus stand in Thoothukudi last Saturday. In response to the growing issue of stray dogs in the city, the corporation launched the vaccination camp in collaboration with the Animal Husbandry Department. The initiative aimed to protect both strays and domesticated dogs from rabies, a deadly disease transmitted through animal bites. By providing free vaccinations, the corporation hopes to reduce the risks of rabies infection in the community.
