Anwar Ibrahim to Strengthen Ties and Trade in Ethiopia, South Africa, and Kenya

Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim is set to visit Ethiopia, South Africa, and Kenya for a week starting on Tuesday, November 18, as confirmed by his senior press secretary Tunku Nashrul Abaidah. The visit will include official meetings in Ethiopia and Kenya, as well as a working visit to South Africa, with a specially chartered Malaysia Airlines flight transporting the delegation. Anwar’s upcoming visit aims to strengthen Malaysia’s ties with the three African countries and boost economic cooperation, with a Malaysian business mission accompanying the official delegation. The participation of business representatives seeks to foster new economic and investment opportunities in Africa, in line with the government’s objectives of market diversification and enhancing Malaysia’s global presence.
