The RTA Zone-1 ED Brahma Reddy revealed that the number of buses will be increased to meet the demand of passengers statewide. Plans are in place to introduce electric buses to all depots by 2028, with 98 buses allocated for the Vijayawada district. The focus is on improving services for women passengers and addressing the bus shortage.
