Archaeologists Unearth 3,000-Year-Old Egyptian Fortress Linked to Biblical Tale

Egyptian archaeologists have made a significant discovery by unearthing a 3,000-year-old fortress with connections to the Book of Exodus, as reported by Fox News. The announcement of this finding was made by the Egyptian Ministry of Tourism and Antiquities on October 11 at the Tell El-Kharouba archaeological site in Sheikh Zuweid, located in North Sinai. Dating back to the New Kingdom period from 1550 B.C. to 1070 B.C., the fortress aligns with the period associated with the biblical narrative. The Book of Exodus makes reference to the Horus Military Road, on which the fortress was unearthed, linking Egypt to Canaan.
