Armenian trucks carrying agricultural products to Russia via Georgia are returning to Armenia, according to a Facebook post by National Assembly deputy Garnik Danielyan. According to Danielyan, ‘Based on our information, hundreds of trucks are returning from the Upper Lars checkpoint. There seems to be a problem with exporting Armenian fruits to Russia through Georgia. This issue needs to be addressed urgently.’ The exact reasons for the trucks’ return were not specified by Danielyan. However, the situation appears to be causing concern within the agricultural sector in Armenia.
