The Asia Cup cricket tournament commenced in Abu Dhabi last night. In the first match, Afghanistan faced off against Hong Kong. Afghanistan’s team, captained by Asghar Afghan, did not have a satisfactory start to their batting innings as they lost their opener Ihsanullah Janat early. Rahmat Shah contributed 8 runs before being dismissed by Tanwir Afzal. It was Mohammad Nabi’s 27 runs off 33 balls that steadied the Afghan innings.
