Astrophel Aerospace, a Pune-based startup specializing in reusable launch vehicles and cryogenic propulsion systems, exhibited its domestically produced cryogenic pump at the recent BRICS Innovation Summit in Moscow. Co-founders Suyash Bafna and Immanuel Louis engaged with potential investors and global partners to explore export opportunities within BRICS nations and beyond. The cryo pump is currently going through validation and certification at ISRO, signifying a major achievement for India’s emerging private space supply chain. Once certified by ISRO, Astrophel Aerospace will be the first startup authorized for use in rocket engines and industrial cryogenics across various sectors such as oil & gas, medical, and energy.
