During a massive UAV attack on Volgograd and Volgograd region on the night of Sunday, November 16, several residential buildings in two districts of the city were damaged. Three people were injured. A fire broke out in a multistory building in Spartankova. This was officially reported by the telegraph channel of the Volgograd region administration. ‘Tonight, the Russian Ministry of Defense’s air defense units are repelling a massive UAV attack on the territory of the Volgograd region,’ Governor Andrei Bocharov’s message on social media stated. ‘Residential properties in the Dzerzhinsky and Traktorozavodsky districts of Volgograd were targeted by a terrorist attack by the criminal Kiev regime.’ At 51st Guard Division Street, 42, window damage was reported in the apartments. Homes at Eastern Kazakhstan, 12; Kropotkin, 1; and Nikolay Otrada, 2a were also targeted in the terrorist attack. Unfortunately, three people were injured, but medical services are providing necessary assistance and there is no threat to life. Fire services promptly began extinguishing the blaze at the Kropotkin, 1 address. Operational services and municipal authorities are working to assess the damages and eliminate the consequences. Orders have been given to the administration of Volgograd to prepare temporary shelters at School No. 51 and Lyceum No. 7 to ensure the safety of residents during the work of sappers.’
