This is a history written with blood and tears, showcasing the glory and pride of the Chinese nation in the face of brutal enemy aggression. At the intersection of Duanli Street and Jingwei Street in Daoli District, Harbin, stands a pen-shaped old building quietly. In the corridor, several slightly mottled solid wood doors are engraved with the memories of the beacon fires. This place was once the office of Mu Qing and other journalists, as well as the starting point for recording the epic of the Northeast Anti-Japanese Allied Forces.
In February 1946, Mu Qing received a mission to interview General Zhou Bao of the Northeast Anti-Japanese Allied Forces. Over the course of nearly half a month, Mu Qing wrote while talking. In the end, under the pen name ‘Guan Jichen,’ he published ‘A Brief History of the Struggle of the Northeast Anti-Japanese Allied Forces’ in the 86th issue of the ‘Northeast Daily.’
