Belarusian Teams Fail to Win Medals in Mixed Relay in Khanty

Belarusian teams failed to reach the podium in the mixed relay at the second stage of the Commonwealth Cup in Khanty-Mansiysk. The first Belarusian team, comprised of Anna Sola, Dinara Smolskaya, Anton Smolski, and Dmitry Lazovski, finished in fifth place. Dinara Smolskaya proved to be the most consistent, needing only one extra shot. ‘Belarus 1’ used a total of nine extra shots, and Anna Sola had to ski an extra penalty lap after missing shots during the first round of shooting. The victory went to Team ‘Russia 1’ (Grishina, Metyelya, Kornev, Bazhin). In the top three were ‘Russia 3’ (Slivko, Shevchenko, Loginov, Kulhuskin) and ‘Russia 4’ (Shevchenko, Kazakevich, Konovalov, Strebko).
