A Bengaluru woman, who alleged her husband injected her with mercury, has died during treatment. Police are investigating the claims of poisoning and dowry harassment. Victoria, a native of Attibele in Bengaluru, passed away at the Ashwini Hospital after undergoing months of treatment. It was on a Sunday in March that Victoria entered the government hospital in her hometown due to health issues. Shortly after, she was transferred to Oxford Hospital, where a test revealed the presence of mercury in her blood.
