Bentley Beyond100+: What Lies Behind the Updated Electrification Plan?

Bentley has updated its strategy named Beyond100+ to expand its range of models with internal combustion engines and plug-in hybrid powertrains. The company will release plug-in hybrid models at least until 2035, extending the implementation deadline of its previous plan to exclusively release electric models. By the end of 2025, the company will announce the release of a new limited series of powerful models with internal combustion engines. Towards the end of 2026, the automaker will release a luxurious urban SUV, with deliveries set to begin in 2027. The length of the unnamed model will be less than five meters, and the acceleration from 0 to 160 km/h will take less than seven seconds. In a statement, Frank-Steffen Walliser, Chairman and CEO of Bentley Motors, said: ‘Today’s changes to our Beyond100+ strategy confirm Bentley’s commitment to responsible and sustainable development. We are adjusting the pace of production to align with the realities of a changing world and dynamic market.’
