Bihar Assembly Election Results: Victories Achieved with Less than 100 Votes Margin in Strategic Positions

In the recently concluded Bihar Assembly elections, the details of the electoral winners have been revealed. The National Democratic Alliance (NDA), led by the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), secured 202 seats, the Indian National Congress under the leadership of the Rashtriya Janata Dal secured 35 seats, the individual performance of the All India Majlis-e-Ittehad-ul-Muslimeen in 5 seats, and the Bahujan Samaj Party in 1 seat.

Calculating the vote share, the NDA led by the BJP secured a 20.08% vote share in the Bihar Assembly elections. This represents a 0.5% increase compared to the 2020 elections. Conversely, the United Janata Dal managed to secure a vote share of 19.25%, reflecting a 4% increase from the previous elections.

In the Bihar poll results, victories have been clinched in some constituencies with less than a 100-vote margin. Similarly, in 3 constituencies, victories with margins of less than 100 votes have been reported. Furthermore, in additional constituencies, wins have been decided by fewer than 250 votes.

In the Chandni Chowk constituency in Patna, the United Janata Dal candidate Radha Charan Sha obtained victory with a mere 27-vote margin over the candidate from the Rashtriya Janata Dal. Meanwhile, in Arrah, within the Akhile Division, BJP candidate Mahesh Paswan suffered defeat in the strategic positions by a margin of 95 votes.

Moving to the Ramgarh constituency, the Bahujan Samaj Party candidate Satish Kumar Singh clinched victory with a margin of 30 votes. Here, the Janata Dal’s Ashok Kumar Singh faced defeat. In the Nawada Assembly segment, the United Janata Dal’s candidate Amrendra Kumar Singh outvoted the candidates with 112 votes margin, earning a victory.

In the Darbhanga constituency, the victory was secured by the United Janata Dal’s candidate Faizal Rahman, while the Janata Dal’s candidate Pawan Kumar Jaiswal emerged victorious with a significant 178-vote margin. Finally, in the Forbesganj Assembly segment, the Janata Dal’s Vidya Sagara Keshari faced defeat against the Congress candidate Manoj Pishwas, losing by a margin of 221 votes.
