Bihar Assembly Elections: Polling Begins with 1302 Candidates in the Fray

The final phase of Bihar Assembly Elections has commenced with polling taking place in 20 districts covering 122 constituencies. Polling will continue until 6 PM, with a total of 3.70 crore voters exercising their franchise. 45 polling centers have been set up with tight security arrangements. Among the 1302 candidates in the fray, Chief Minister Nitish Kumar and 12 other ministers are contesting the elections. In this last phase, 6 seats being contested by the Janata Dal (United) are also up for grabs. Leaders from various political parties like Congress and CPI (ML) are actively participating in the elections. The results of all 121 constituencies where polling has been completed will be announced this month.
