Head of the Meteorology, Climatology, and Geophysics Agency (BMKG), Dwikorita Karnawati, stated that Indonesia has officially entered the peak rainy season of 2025. This rainy season will continue until February 2026. Previously, Dwikorita explained that the rainy season in Indonesia does not start at the same time. Some areas start their rainy season in August, September, and even October. Despite entering the rainy season, the weather from morning to afternoon tends to be hot. However, rain will start falling in the evening until night. ‘Starting today, from November onwards, we are entering the peak of the rainy season,’ said Dwikorita during a Press Conference on Preparedness to Face the Peak Rainy Season broadcast via Zoom Meeting on Saturday (1/11/2025).
