Bob Menendez Accused of Helping Egypt Cover Up Khashoggi Murder

Bob Menendez is accused of aiding in covering up the brutal murder of Saudi Arabian journalist Jamal Khashoggi. The act is seen as a severe violation of human rights and a major betrayal of the principles he was supposed to uphold as a US senator. The disgraced former New Jersey Democrat, who is currently serving an 11-year prison sentence for corruption charges and conspiracy to act as a foreign agent for Egypt and Qatar, reportedly provided guidance to high-ranking Egyptian officials on how to handle questions about Khashoggi’s assassination during a Senate Foreign Relations Committee hearing in June 2021.
