Body Mass Index, Kidney Disease Patients Facing Challenges Travelling to the USA

Washington: When foreign nationals apply for US visas, they now have to undergo detailed body examinations. The US Department of State, in an effort to increase scrutiny, has raised the bar for visa issuance. President Donald Trump, in his second term, is showing a crackdown in immigration policies. In part, he has elevated the fee for ‘H1-B’ visas to historically unseen levels. Additionally, the US Department of State, in a confidential communication to its consular officers and support staff, stated that when evaluating visa applications, officials must prioritize providing detailed body examinations to visa applicants.
