Jakarta – The government through the Investment Management Agency Anagata Nusantara (BPI Danantara) will establish a Hajj village in Makkah, Saudi Arabia. The project is already in the preparation stage for bidding. Head of BPI Danantara, Rosan Roeslani, explained that the project aims to provide better facilities and accommodation for Indonesian Hajj pilgrims in Makkah. Plans are underway to ensure a smooth tender process by October 30, 2025. Once completed, the Kampung Haji project is expected to be fully operational by 2028.
