The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Brazil, Mauro Vieira, met with the Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov on the sidelines of the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA). The meeting took place last Friday (9/26) with the diplomats addressing the strengthening of cooperation within the BRICS group, as well as discussing the international agenda. Both chancellors highlighted the importance of deepening the ties between Brazil and Russia and signing bilateral agreements to enhance their partnership. The meeting aimed to reinforce the commitment of both countries to cooperation and collaboration on various global issues.
