Four days after the Delhi Blast, a horrific explosion rocked a police station in Srinagar, Jammu and Kashmir, claiming seven lives and injuring 27, mostly police officers and forensic experts. The blast occurred while officials were handling samples of explosive materials seized from Faridabad. The explosion, caused by 360 kilograms of ammonium nitrate, was linked to Dr. Muzammil Ganai, who was arrested at his rented home. The explosive materials were stored in the police station’s premises and being investigated by FSL experts and officials conducting sampling.
