Buka Dapur Mini Festival 2025 Opens, Becoming a Laboratory Space for Theater Enthusiasts

Jakarta – The Buka Dapur Mini Festival, abbreviated as BUDAmFEST, was officially opened at the Museum Kebangkitan Nasional in Jakarta today. The space, serving as an idea laboratory for theater enthusiasts, brings together performing arts talents from various regions in Indonesia. The festival, part of the National Arts Talent Management (MTN), provides a space for honing skills and enhancing the capacities of art practitioners. Director of Buka Dapur Mini Festival 2025, Wulan Pusposari, stated that the festival is held as a way to nurture the cross-generational creative process that continues to evolve. “At BUDAmFEST, artists test ideas, expand networks, and create new approaches in artistic creation. This festival marks two decades of Lab Teater Ciputat’s journey in fostering cross-generational creative processes,” she said in a statement received by detikcom on Monday (8/12).
