Bus Accident in Stockholm – November 14, 2025

Several people died and others were injured on Friday as a double-decker bus collided with a bus stop in the center of Stockholm. This was reported by the Swedish police. The accident occurred in the Estermalm area during rush hour. The police cordoned off Valhallavägen street around the scene. Currently, authorities are not commenting on the number, gender, and age of the victims, but local media reports that there are severely injured individuals among them. The public transport agency SL stated that they do not have information on the cause of the incident at the moment. The bus driver was arrested, as reported by Aftonbladet, noting that the incident is classified as involuntary manslaughter under aggravated circumstances. According to emergency services, the bus involved in the accident was off its route and was traveling without passengers.
