Rio de Janeiro councilman, Carlos Bolsonaro (PL), is considering taking his father Jair Bolsonaro (PL) to the hospital on Monday night, due to a new bout of hiccups and vomiting. According to the lawmaker, the crisis is one of the most intense since the former president started experiencing stomach issues as a result of the stabbing he suffered in 2018. ‘He is going through a bout of hiccups accompanied by four episodes of vomiting, which he himself described as the most intense so far. Michelle is making him a little more comfortable and at ease, while the doctor is already on his way to evaluate the situation,’ said Carlos Bolsonaro. The former president went to the hospital on September 16, leaving home confinement after feeling unwell, with hiccups, vomiting, and low blood pressure. Two days earlier, on Sunday (14), he was hospitalized to remove skin lesions. At that time, the medical report showed that Bolsonaro was suffering from anemia. He also underwent a chest CT scan, which showed ‘residual image of recent pneumonia due to bronchoaspiration.’ On Wednesday, the doctor Claudio Birolini confirmed that the exams identified lesions consistent with skin cancer. ‘Two of the lesions tested positive for squamous cell carcinoma, which is neither the mildest nor the most aggressive, but still a form of skin cancer,’ Birolini said.
