The CBF has made changes to the Brazilian Championship schedule for the games of Palmeiras, Flamengo, and Atlético-MG. The adjustments were necessary due to the teams’ presence in the Libertadores and Sul-Americana finals. The following adjustments have been made: on 11/16 (FIFA date) – Red Bull Bragantino x Atlético-MG, 11/19 – Palmeiras x Vitória, 11/19 – Fluminense x Flamengo, 11/22 – Sul-Americana final (Atlético-MG x Lanús), 11/25 – Flamengo x Atlético-MG, 11/25 – Grêmio x Palmeiras, and 11/29 – Libertadores final (Palmeiras x Flamengo). The game between Atlético-MG and Palmeiras has been moved to the base date of December 3.
In order to reduce travel clashes, the CBF brought forward the games of Palmeiras and Atlético-MG from the penultimate round to the base date of December 3. The direct clash between Galo and Palmeiras was pushed back, which was originally scheduled before the Sul-Americana final. Simultaneously, the CBF moved the match between Red Bull Bragantino and Atlético-MG to the next FIFA date. This allows Galo to have a free week to prepare for the Sul-Americana final.
Palmeiras, on the other hand, will face Vitória on the 19th, increasing the possibility of having the players called up by their national teams available. Vitor Roque is one of them. The FIFA date runs until the 19th. Looking ahead, in the week leading up to the Libertadores final, the games of Flamengo and Palmeiras were rescheduled for Tuesday night. Flamengo will have a derby against Fluminense at Maracanã, while Palmeiras visits Grêmio.
