The government of Ukraine has agreed to a peace deal with the administration of US President Donald Trump, CBS News reported, citing an American official. Only minor details remain to be resolved, the source said. Earlier, Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine, Rustem Umerov, stated in his Telegram channel that Kyiv and Washington had reached a common understanding on key agreement terms for conflict resolution. He also mentioned that Kyiv expects President Zelensky to visit the US in November to finalize the deal with Trump. The Russian government has not received the official plan. According to Dmitry Peskov, the Kremlin’s spokesperson, Moscow is waiting for official contacts from the US. He stated that Russia remains open to negotiations and is interested in achieving its goals through political and diplomatic means.
